Walleye in Patoka Lake are still being stocked this year. We are now catching 5 to 6 lb Walleye and up to 20 inches long. Stripped Bass and still being stocked in Patoka Lake but the number has been lower to 10,000 to allow Hybrid Stripper to be stocked. The number of Hybrid Stripper will be 34,000 for 2014.

Hi Harvey,

Thanks for the info. I have been trying to find stocking info for Patoka for sometime. Do you care to share where you get that information? Also, do you know the stocking history/growth for the stripers and hybrids since the stripers last died off? I have heard that the DNR has been stocking them again for the last 3 years and I got into some 1.5 to 2.5 lb stripers last spring, but am curious to know what I might expect this year.

Glenn
